What is the talent program?<\/h2><\/div>

“LeaderIn for a month” is NORDA Advisory’s one-month exclusive development program to develop the leadership competencies and skills of selected talents while they are still in university, and to accompany them on their way to becoming leaders.<\/p>\n

Leaders will accompany NORDA Advisory’s Managing Director in all of her activities for one month. They will have a steep learning curve. Each day provides an excellent opportunity to acquire new leadership competencies and skills.<\/p>\n

These cover various topics that are valuable not only in management consulting, but in corporates and medium-sized companies in general, especially if the student is aiming for a leadership position.<\/p>\n

After the one-month internship, there is the possibility to continue working at NORDA Advisory in another position.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Who is it targeted at?<\/h2><\/div>

Our exclusive talent program “LeaderIn for a month” is designed for all students who are still at the beginning of their career but would like to take off as a leader today.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

What is the specific plan?<\/h2><\/div>

The talent program is based on a 30-day schedule. Each day, the focus is on a different leadership competency or skill.<\/p>\n

We start each workday with an introduction to that leadership competency or skill. This will include 1.5 hours of training. Throughout the day, the leader will focus on the particular competency or skill in all of their activities. At the end of the workday, we will clarify questions and discuss lessons learned.<\/p>\n

Depending on the student’s focus of interest and availability, the schedule will be marginally adjusted before to the start of the internship.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

In order to build good relationships both within the organization and with external stakeholders, it is important to know how to perform personal branding, make a good first impression, maintain relationships, and conduct stakeholder management. The participant will learn the core values to look for when meeting new people, to be open and welcoming, and how to interact with people to build a good relationship and turn it into a long-term relationship.<\/p>\n

As a successful manager (or employee in general), it is important to be able to manage yourself. Daily work routines, organizational skills, planning, prioritizing tasks, and decision making are important to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and that one knows when to work on which tasks. The student learns to structure their environment to avoid unnecessary distractions and focus on the tasks that need to be completed.<\/p>\n

As a consultant, there are some core competencies that are important to perform well. Excellent communication and presentation skills are both important factors in client meetings, workshops, basic communication with clients, etc. The student will learn how to practice these skills to excel in communicating with and presenting to clients. These are fundamental skills that are not only helpful in the world of consulting but are also useful in a variety of other positions and fields.<\/p>\n

To be a great leader, you need to know how to build and lead your team. The recommendation letter is an important part of employee dismissal as it must be properly worded and reflect the employee’s performance in the organization.<\/p>\n

        Former leaders have developed on a personal level by having an absolute focus on leadership, but also by supporting and accompanying us on ongoing projects, marketing or sales, etc. as part of their internship to gain insight into how a boutique management consultancy works.<\/p>\n
