Yesterday we kicked-off our 6-week Program Management challenge. The first episode dealt with Program Planning. Thanks to all participants, it was a lot of fun.

📣 Our lessons learned from previous programs are:

1️⃣   Providing a clear structure for Program and project plans ensures that status reporting needs are served.

2️⃣   The more you train your direct reports, the more they understand what you are aiming for. They are enabled to deliver what is expected. This leads to less rework effort, also in terms of project plan consolidation.

3️⃣   Revealing and resolving issues, e.g., project dependencies, parallel milestones, and resource conflicts, at the beginning of the program helps reducing risks throughout the course of the program.
