Today we kick-off #datamigration and #datacleansing for our #RealEstate client. We start at a very early stage (design phase was approved last week) with sample records and will increase complexity and volume over time.
๐ฃ My lessons learned from one of my previous projects are:
1๏ธโฃ ย ย Start early. Data migration and cleansing cannot start too early.
2๏ธโฃ ย ย Do not underestimate the time it takes to gather and upload data correctly.
3๏ธโฃ ย ย Assign people to the tasks who are patient and pay close attention to detail.
4๏ธโฃ ย ย Approach and planning are key – as always.
